The Food&Beverage Manager is in charge of MEKK all day dining Restaurant&Bar and Meeting&Events Operations.

MEKK RESTAURANT& BAR

All day dining MEKK Restaurant&Bar is the heart of the hotel, where one can celebrate and enjoy a unique culinary experience influenced by Estonian culture together with exceptional service.

Our mission is to bring fresh and local ingredients with a modern touch and full authenticity to local and international guests.

Your mission would be to make it happen together with our Executive Chef Rene Uusmees, who is also the founder of MEKK cuisine and proudly preserving Estonian cuisine and culture with our culinary team.

COMPETENCES & SKILLS FOR THIS POSITION:

  • Strong communication skills in Estonian and advanced communication in English

  • You shall be incredibly connected to the local region and area including strong market knowledge of competitors, local knowledge of clientele and customer base and connections within the local F&B community

  • Must have a restaurant owners mentality. Embodies entrepreneurial spirit along with culinary and high level service skills 

  • Driven, dedicated and willingness to go the extra mile for guests and team members 

  • Must be an innovator and creator to position MEKK as the place to be for casual dining in Tallinn 

  • You shall be a motivating and inspirational coach and people developer who creates a trustful work environment for the team where everyone can perform at their fullest potential and grow on daily basis 

  • Drives revenues through strategic management of commercial initiatives and implement in operations with the team

  • High level attention to details to ensure the smooth running operation of MEKK Restaurant&Bar and M&E

  • Provide Exceptional Estonian Hospitality
